WHAT to bring to practice:
Please wear warm clothing; sweats, sweat shirt, cotton gloves welcomed. It's cold and it's better to be layered & keep the muscles warm while their active!
RUNNING Shoes- If your athlete is not in proper shoes they may not be able to participate. Running in improper shoes can cause all sorts of muscle issues! We don't want to start off with soar muscles.
WATER- Lots of WATER! We recommend using a refillable water bottle, there is a campus water fountain available if needed.
A BAG! Track, backpack, duffel bag to keep all of your athletes belongings together. We also recommend labeling your athletes gear- especially their spirit wear!
WHAT NOT to bring to practice:
NO Cell Phones - they need to stay OUT OF SITE! Cell phones are NOT Allowed during track practice. The athletes phone should be stored away during practice time.
NO Footballs, NO Soccer Balls, No Base Balls, NO Frisbee's, NO TOYS! These are obstacles that can get in the way of running athletes and cause injuries. This is track, we like to RUN! =)
